In the state of Texas, City of El Paso can I carry a handgun in my car or to work with out a license?

By Texas law you can carry a weapon (gun, machete, whatever...sword it thats your thing) in your vehicle as long as it is CONCEALED it is your personal property and you have a right to protect it. HOWEVER! without a concealed carry license AND written permission from your employer, you cannot carry that weapon into your work. you have to leave it in your car. same goes for if you are going to the store...without the concealed carry license, you have to leave the weapon in the car. HERES THE BIG CATCH!!! IF, someone were to steal your vehicle and use that weapon against someone...you could be held liable. my advice...get a CHL
