I want to work at a Domestic Violence center?
I'm just out of high school and currently in college. I really want to work for a domestic violence shelter/center. i need to know where to start. i honestly don't have much experience, but i'm willing to learn. a little help? I can work in el paso tx. if this is useful at all.

Volunteer, im sure they'll take anyone they dont have to pay.

You may well need more life experience before you work in such a place .. it can be very emotional work

See if there is a safe house in El Paso. The one here in Huntsville is always looking for volunteers to help out.

You can contact them, ask for the volunteer director..volunteers get training first before they can volunteer..also, since you are in college, ask your college about more opportunities within the community..some of your professor may direct you in what you can do..if you are studying criminal justice, this would be great for you to do..or if you are studying to become a social worker.
